Faith, Hope, and Love (1 Cor. 13:13)

Have you ever felt that your life has just fallen apart? Or felt that all of your plans for the future have just been shattered? Or maybe even felt like your chest had just exploded with your heart bursting out from its place of safety within your rib cage? A feeling like you just exploded or maybe even imploded. It is in this point of total brokenness, that there is nothing left in this world for you to hold onto. It is at this point that we finally reach down, deep inside of overselves, to that tiny speck of something that was implanted within us upon conception. It is that part of us, our spirit, that communes with the Spirit of God. When all that we have left is our rhythmic beating of our hearts, our spirit reaches out to the Spirit of our Creator.

Now, deep within our spirits is where we find the things necessary to keep going on…FAITH, HOPE, AND LOVE:
FAITH–The substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen…Check out my previous post on faith.
HOPE— Wishing something would happen….Check out my prvious post on hope.
LOVE–Love is patient, love is kind… Check out my previous post on love.

You see, it is only when we totally reach that point, that all that we have left is faith, hope, and love. And that is all that we need to carry on, holding onto our Creator and Healer who will bring us to a place that we never dreamed of previously… A place where He will let you feel His heartbeat and His consuming love… and give you a love for others that will endure…

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. Corinthians 13:13 NIV)
