The CALL is going out!… “Do you seriously think God can’t use you?

Today, I will share what has been in my heart for many months. God gave me confirmation last week, so now I will share with you…

God is raising up an army of people who are willing to be used by Him to help others. He is using those who have been wounded and broken, who have felt that they are nothing, to show others the way to Him. I recently heard this and ask that each of you consider this…

“Do you seriously think God can’t use you?

Noah was a drunk…
Abraham was too old…
 Isaac was a day-dreamer…
Jacob was a liar…
Leah was ugly…
Joseph was abused…
Moses had a stuttering problem…
Gideon was afraid…
Samson had long hair and was a womanizer…
Rahab was a prostitute…
Jeremiah and Timothy were too young…
David had an affair and was a murderer…
Elijah was suicidal…
Isaiah preached naked…
Jonah ran from God…
Naomi was a widow…
Job went bankrupt…
Peter denied Christ…
The disciples fell asleep while praying…
Martha worried about everything…
The Samaritan woman was divorced…
 Zacchaeus was too small…
Paul was too religious…
Timothy had an ulcer…
LAZARUS WAS  DEAD

I Corinthians 1:26-29

“Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.”

So, my message to each of you today is that God is calling you forth into His army. None of us can do anything on our on power… because we have none. As you look at this list, you will see that God used those who had problems, who needed help, who were wounded, who were broken, who were rejected, etc. Those chosen did not have the strength or self-confidence to stand alone. It was in their brokenness that they held onto God and He used them in mighty ways. He wants to do that today! Who will answer His call?

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)

  1. Although I can’t see it now, knowing this gives me hope. Thank you for the reminder, that God works good through all things.
