Somebody Else’s Story

Somebody Else’s Story… A dedication to my friend.

I dedicate this post to a dear friend that allowed Christ to use her to shine His Light through her,  bringing my children and I closer to God. As a survivor of domestic violence, she understood my brokenness and helped me through all the pain that I was experiencing. As a woman of God, she spoke Life into my children and I. God used her to help bring us out of the darkness of our past and into our futures with Him.

As I was listening to this song by John Waller, I was praying that God would use me to help others, and then, I was notified of her unexpected death. I dedicate this song to my dear friend who has been called out of this life and into the glorious one that God has waiting for her. She helped escort my children and I into the destiny that God has for us and we pray that God will use us to help others as well…

Listen to “Somebody Else’s Story” by John Waller…

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.  Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”  (Matthew 5: 14-16)

  1. Yes, so important to listen and offer support. I’m grateful for those who took the time to listen in my life, in many instances for years, before I could accept their help.
