Liars and Deceivers Beware! God knows the truth… (Psalm 25:3)

psalm 25 3

Psalm 25:3 (NLT)

No one who trusts in You will ever be disgraced,
but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others.

This is what the Lord gave me as I woke up at 2:53am this morning. Lies and deceit were the words swimming in my head as I was sleeping. Then, this scripture from my NLT Bible talked about those who try to deceive others.

Having watched a video about narcissism yesterday, memories of people who hurt me in my lifetime through their lies and deceit including my ex and an ex-boss had come back to my mind. Things that I tried to forget. Things that have affected my life, my lifestyle, my health, my children and I all came back. You see, lies and deceit hurt people. So many victims have loss so much because of liars and deceivers.  These abusive people who manipulate other people and situations through their lying and deceitful schemes for their own good will have to answer for it one day.  God does not sleep. He does not get deceived. He knows each heart and the intent of each person.

So, liars and deceivers beware! God knows the truth and He knows where you are. You will not win…

  1. Amen. Rest assured the Lord will repay those who has troubled us with deception as did those who troubled the church of Thessalonians if those deceivers die in their sins according to:

2 Thessalonians 1:3-10 ….”We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer; since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.”

And this promise still stands to the end according to: Matthew 24:34-36. So rest in the Lord in this truth and keep up the good fight of faith, for we are almost home. d and o not allow anyone or anything discourage you from Jesus Christ.

  2. Amen! My friend. And I always tell myself to not take it personal when someone tries to deceive me, it’s on them. And not my place to judge ( still working on that ) but it’s easier knowing God knows all and HE will sort it all out in the end. Good POST!
