No One Can Serve Two Masters! (Matt. 6:24)

The Road To Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions...

So, who do you serve??

This is a question that we all need to consider. There is not a grey area when we consider who we serve. Do you serve God or do you serve Satan? Do you choose righteousness or do you choose unrighteousness? God’s commandments have not changed since they were written.  God’s description of right and wrong have not changed. So think about it!

Now… Again, who do you serve??

Scripture for today:

“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other.” (Matthew 6:24)

  1. Very important question. Many times our lifestyle and not necessarily what we say, is the biggest indicator of exactly who we are serving. By our fruits shall we be known.

  2. It Is An Ongoing Choice Minute By Minute. We Are Still All Sinners So I Hope No One Reads This And Things They Must Just Forget It Because They Will Never Measure Up. None Of Us Will. Our Best Is Nothing But Filthy Rags before The Lord. Thanks To The Lord For His Saving Grace And Undeserving Mercy!

  3. Probably the most trivial question of all times. We often consider ourselves in the “right” side when we think of good intentions, but actually, we are blinded by what is going on outside that we often forget to stop & ponder upon what are we truly doing. We end up doing things that we think is “right” & “in service” to God but the truth is are actions are often misguided by our lust, greed, anger & all those other human emotions that what we do stray from our intentions.

    • Amen… Also, the enemy has managed to slip in a “grey” area on things when God’s Word is plain “black or white”… no in-between. Either we follow Him and His Word or we miss the mark… We all need to thank God for His Grace and Mercy! Thanks for your supportive comments. I appreciate it.. Blessings!!

  4. Thank you, for sharing such a wonderful message from God. The enemy is indeed an insidious being. But God is watching us & if we follow Him & His word, he will protect us from the enemy. God Bless you! 😀

  5. I serve the ONLY One who is worthy – the one and only omnipotent, creator God who loves me with an everlasting love and gave Himself for me.

Great question for all to consider. There is no in-between.
