DP: Poem About Abuse…from A to Z

Daily Prompt: A to Z
http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/07/27/daily-prompt-orderly/

Abused is not God’s intent.
Battered is Satan’s extent.
Cursed makes us feel so low.
Deception is no place to go.
Evil is in this land.
Fear of abuser’s violent hand.
Getting threatened where others don’t know.
Hit where bruises don’t show.
Infidelity is an abuse too.
Jealousy and accusations not true.
Kicked with an evil stare.
Lust is not love, so beware.
Manipulation is another game.
No one should live in danger and shame.
Open abuse in public is rarely done.
Punched and pinched is not fun.
Quietness and evil looks is fearful itself.
Remembering abuses victims put on the shelf.
Sarcastic and scolding words that are said.
Threats of violence dancing in their heads.
Unkindness and unfaithfulness are things abusers do.
Violence is common with abusers too.
Workplace abuse is also on the rise.
X’POSE abuses and open people’s eyes.
Yell out about abuse and expose it, I say.
Zeal is needed to fight abuse today.

  2. GREAT post! Could I re-blog this article onto another one of my blogs? If you would allow me, I would greatly appreciate it. Of course I would give you credit. Thanks for your time. Looking forward to hearing from you.

    • That is perfectly fine.. We all need to spread the word about abuse. It has been hidden behind closed doors for too long. Expose is key to stopping it. Too many people don’t even realize that they are abused since they have been in it so long… I appreciate your support.. Many blessings to you…

      • Thank you so very much for returning my request so quickly. I am not totally sure if you are an abuse victim or not I would just like to tell you that I am VERY,VERY proud of you. The fact that you can write the things you write and share your feelings with others is simply AWESOME!! Keep up the good work. You are an inspiration to others!

      • Thank you so very much for your encouraging words. I write mostly about what I have lived through over the years and what God has revealed to me. God told me last year to write a book about abuse and my life and it should be released soon… The Walking Wounded. I have started this ministry in obedience and walk everyday as God leads. I remain under Secret Angel as I represent the many nameless, faceless victims of abuse… as well as protecting my children as they still have an abusive father. You may want to read Rescued… which was one of my earliest post. I have seen what God can do and I am eternally His servant. May God bless you exceedingly and abundantly.

  8. A strong message in this piece, one I’m sure that many will appreciate and excellent use of rhymes on every line in a punchy, stylish way. An excellent use of the prompt, I hope it gets the attention it deserves.

  9. Absolutely wonderful!!! I love your blog and how it brings the attention to this centuries old demon. I am reblogging to myownheart.me as it will maybe bring awareness to another. Praise God that you have the gift and calling to be the voice for those that are or have been through the suffering. God Bless and keep you my dear one.

    • Thank you so much for your encouraging words and for reblogging. Thanks for following as the Lord leads me to reach out to victims of abuse. I really appreciate your support. Blessing to you!!
