Daily Prompt: Searching for God’s Rescue for Victims of Abuse

Searching for God’s rescue,
for many of His children,
who are abused and used,
and feeling so broken.
But Satan uses many,
to cause hurt and pain,
and many are unaware,
that he is really to blame.
So these scriptures I find,
to proclaim a huge RESCUE!!
And turn hearts to YOU.

I proclaimed these Words of God to the heavens as I prayed for my rescue. God answered my prayers so I pray for Him to rescue many more as He as rescued me…

Psalms 35:17 “Lord, how long will You look on? Rescue my soul from their ravages…”

Psalms 43:1 “Vindicate me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation; O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!”

Psalms 71:2 “In Your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; Incline Your ear to me and save me.”

Psalms 107:19 “Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He saved them out of their distresses.”

Psalms 140:1 “Rescue me, O LORD, from evil men; Preserve me from violent men”

Psalms 143:9 “Deliver me, O LORD, from my enemies; I take refuge in You.”

Psalms 144:7 “Stretch forth Your hand from on high; Rescue me and deliver me…”

Daniel 6:27 “He delivers and rescues and performs signs and wonders In heaven and on earth, Who has also delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.”

2 Peter 2:9 “then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment.”

Psalms 72:12-14 “For he will deliver the needy when he cries for help, The afflicted also, and him who has no helper. He will have compassion on the poor and needy, And the lives of the needy he will save. He will rescue their life from oppression and violence, And their blood will be precious in his sight”

Psalms 82:3-4 “Vindicate the weak and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute. Rescue the weak and needy; Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.”

Isaiah 61:1 “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, Because the LORD has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to captives And freedom to prisoners”

1 Thessalonians 1:10 “and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come.”

Colossians 1:13 “For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son.”

2 Timothy 4:18 “The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.”

  1. Unfortunately when God says it rains on the just and unjust he is right because sin affect all of us. When sin infects someone then someone else will get hurt and that is the heartbreak of it all.

  7. Why does he take so long when upon my knees I’ve begged. I know he cannot seize my memories not reverse the past. I’ve tried to do some good from my abuse and yet here i stand wishing he call me home and end this abomination of life. If he will not heal me then my wish is he’d kill me. I cannot kill myself for I lack the power of that choice only he calls us home and on his time. For now he leaves me stuck in hell unable to die, unable to live. No mercy nor clemency offered and my sentence to hell remains in full force.

    • Hi Michelle! I am so sorry for all that you have been through. I can tell you that the wounds of our past affect our decisions everyday. I have learned over the years to just hold onto God everyday for every decision. Daily, I pray for God to rescue more victims and I will be praying for you. Please continue to pray because God does answer prayers even though it is always in His own timing and in His own way. Blessings to you!!
