Angel by Your Side

Our eyes are blinded…
there’s so much we can’t see.
But there’s an army of angels…
surrounding you and me.

And as we remember the past,
with many things gone wrong,
we realize we were still protected,
and we praise Him with a song.

For there are angels by our side,
who help us every day.
They watch and protect us,
and guide us on our way.

For the war of good and evil,
battles around us constantly.
But these angels on assignment,
could look just like you and me.

Angel by your side…

Psalm 91:11
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;

Luke 4:11
they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.'”

  1. Amen and amen…you are right there is so much we cannot see. Bible says….

    Ephesians 6:12

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

    • Amen… I thought about including that but felt that I needed to keep it simple so I am glad that you commented about it. There’s so much we can’t see and can’t hear… we just have to keep praying and seeking the One who dispatches our angels by our side. Blessings to you, my friend!!

      • I know what you mean. You have the gift of stopping at the right place. I think I say too much many times and lose the reader before they get to the meat. I am too detailed most of the time and want to include EVERYTHING. I love your stuff and feel very connected to you! You are my sister…

      • Amen my sister!! I feel it too! I have also written too much at times and have to regroup. I just pray for Him to guide me and teach me this “blog world” that I am still learning. I know that He touches lives through any and everything when we don’t even know or understand. It’s all about Him. He uses it all. Many blessings to you my sister!!

      • Sorry, I am not very good at this. Lots of things I need to learn. Pingback? No clue how to do it. Ok, I figured out how to reblog them. See if you see them at the top now. Of course read part 2 after the first. Lol…ok, that was silly. Let me know if you still cannot see them.

      • Hey, I am with you sister. I don’t know what a “ping-back” is yet either but I can reblog… Thanks for reblogging them for me so I could find them. Awesome posts. I left a comment but I can tell you here that 2 words came to me…
        DIVINE FAVOR….
That is God’s wish for all of us. Blessings my sister!

      • When you are on my site then click on the Life’s ups and downs. It may show at the top there where I reblogged. I think that must have been the category I had it under.

      • I found it when you reblogged it. I didn’t realize that you had them under different categories. Sorry about that. Good posts… I love Ruth. I wrote posting about Ruth and Boaz one day. Here are the links. Let me know what you think…

        Broken?? Redemption is available….

        Broken?? Searching for Your Boaz?.

I love the story of Ruth. Thanks for sharing…

      • Ok, now I want to read what you have written on Ruth but cannot find them. Can you send me your links to them. I am certain it is just me. Thanks!

  2. A beautiful poem, and so true. When my daughter was 16, she hit a tree head on with her car. She walked away with only a sprained ankle and bruises from the air bag. I know there were angels working overtime that day…

    • Amen!! Praise God!! Yes, it is those miraculous moments that are so many times overlooked by some. I thank God for saving your daughter and pray that He will raise her up for the purpose that He has planned for her life. May God pour His blessings onto you and your family, my friend!!!
