PORNOGRAPHY… What if it’s Your Child?

Something deep inside me…
has risen up today.
I pray that hearts will receive…
the message that I will say.
Here is a question for each…
Do you truly love your child?
Do you cherish and protect them…
keeping them away from all vile?
Do you lovingly guard them…
as a protective parent should?
Or do you let them to wander…
allowing evil if it could?
Do you monitor what they watch…
and monitor their behaviors too?
Or do you allow them freedom…
to do what they want to do?
Do you bring them to church…
where you seek God and pray?
Or do you seek God alone…
asking Him to guide you every day.
Do you talk about God in public…
proclaiming to really know Him?
But what do you do in private…
is it righteous or a sin?
For if you care about your child…
and protect them with your life.
Then why do some watch porn…
and allow the potential for strife.
Cause many feel it’s innocent…
and it causes no harm…
but what if it’s your child…
being tricked with someone’s charm.
Sex trafficking is a problem…
and it’s growing by the day.
Many children are stolen…
from their families every day.
So this is something to consider…
Do you want your child in porn?
Because you are viewing someone’s child…
naked as the day they were born.
And even if they are older…
how do you know they’re not trapped?
Caught in a world of sex and violence…
getting drugged, beat, and slapped.
For these victims are innocent…
but the viewers of porn are not.
‘Cause pornography feeds the sex industry…
and what if it’s your child the world forgot.

    • Hi mwitasblog!! Good to hear from you, my brother!! Yes, those numbers are staggering. It just amazes me the number of people who think that porn is no problem and even sit in church on weekends. I pray that eyes will be opened to see and ears will be opened to hear… People need to wake up. Thanks for your support and many blessings to you, my brother!

  1. My heart breaks over these staggering figures. Porn is a ploy from Satan himself to destroy the character and morality of men and women alike. Jesus, Himself, said to look upon a woman and lust in your heart it is sin. How then can we say Porn is ok?

    • Amen. I totally agree with you!! I pray that people will realize. There are so many who proclaim that they know Jesus then do this in secret. It is a huge problem. Thanks for your encouragement. I truly appreciate your support.

      • Thank you and thank you for all you’re doing. Awareness is the key. I honestly think some people aren’t aware of how this lifestyle goes against everything God stands for.

      • You are right. They don’t realize the effects on their future generations… the sins of the fathers will be punished. I much rather have the blessings of a 1000 generations that God promises. Thanks for your support. I really appreciate it.

  2. This is so true and a lot of people still hates people talking about sex trafficking. i got removed from groups on facebook, for not just talking about my childrens ordeal but that of other victims, i was a special victims police officer that word with sex traffick victims i still work with victims and people dont want to know the truth……

    • Wow… thats so sad. Our heads have been buried in the sand. I pray that God will open the hearts of people to reach out to these victims. Thanks for sharing. This just breaks my heart.

      • That’s what I figured was going on… unless you are affected, you don’t care… how sad. I will continue to pray and post information about it. I am still praying that God will give Secret Angel Ministry Safe Houses around the world one day for victims of all abuses… He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Who is more broken than these victims…so I continue to cry out to the Lord for them…
Thanks for your support and many blessings to you, my friend.

  3. These figures are shocking!!!!! I cannot even comprehend it and to make it worse the kids or teens or adults are being used in the porn industry!!! Thank you for bringing this to the light…….

    • Thanks Rolain for your comment. This just breaks my heart. So many people feel that porn is no big deal but it is. There is a direct correlation between sex trafficking and the porn industry. I pray that God will open the hearts to people so that they will see and care about these victims.

      • And a super topic…heartbreaking, but it needs to be explored. We have many things we should be talking about, but the “worldly views” are so liberal and ungodly, they “tie” our tongues!

And to be clear, I’m okay with some who would persecute me for speaking out against ungodly things, but then we’d very likely loose much of our audience…and what good would that do?

        We plug on…

      • Yes… one day at a time, one topic at a time and pray that God will touch hearts to receive the message. Thanks for your support Steven Paul. I join you in praying for all hearts to turn to Him and love their fellow man.

      • Love is the main ingredient in the make-up of our Lord! He is pure in His love, and trustworthy in His promises. However, He is also strict when it comes to His will.

Some things are just wrong in His sight, and people need to know which things are acceptable and which are not.

By remaining silent on these things, we risk lives…for eternity! But Many in the world don’t want to obey…so all we can do is press on with the message and pray.

Answer everyone who asks for the hope we have in God through Christ, with respect…

      • I just shared your site with some friends at FB. Your ministry is an incredible work!

        Steven πŸ™‚

      • Steven, I truly appreciate your encouraging words of support. I thank you for standing with me in prayer for all the lost and hurting around the world. Many, many blessings to you, my friend.

      • I want your blog to be successful, as I want mine to be. But it is more important that God’s message get out to as many people as possible.

That means some social media work must be involved. I stand with you and am happy to help and support you in every way I can!

Thanks so much…you are a dear friend and sister in Christ!

      • I kinda chuckled when you said social media… I did not even have a facebook until last summer when God called me to reach out to abuse victims. I was overwhelmed just setting up LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and my blog. God just amazes me that He uses everything for His good. Praise God. Many, many blessings to you my brother!

      • Yeah, these social media sites are set up to be more of a “friends” network. They want a total profile on everybody and that takes time to complete.

Plus, you have to decide what info. you want to share and what is private to you. There are a number of “unsavory” people out there…

Regardless, it almost seems like you have to reach out to these places in order to build a following. Personally, I dropped Twitter, LinkedIn, Pin it, etc. All I ever got were people who wanted to “fight” with you over “religion.”

The problem is that people everywhere need to be told about the word of God. However, as it has always been, there are many who reject it and the people who carry the message as well.

It’s a dilemma to say the least! I’m on two WordPress accounts, one for our church website and this one. I am considering that I will limit my posts to this place.

I trust God to guide me in my thinking, but we do have to be aware of the risks of too much personal information posted in too many places. Am I wrong in thinking this?

Anyway, I don’t want to be a “buzz kill” for your enthusiasm! Just be careful, Angel, as you go…

        Steven πŸ™‚

      • Well, you still have me chuckling… Everything that I have out there is “Secret Angel”… not my real information… except that my real life story just got published for the whole world to read. We do have to trust God to lead us. He led me to use “Secret Angel” as He has protected me from my ex and death threats. There are huge risks for putting out personal information on the web but we have to walk as God leads… and He will lead us. I have my Twitter, FB, and LinkedIn linked to my blogs and that is all that I do with it other than respond to any comments. All this social media stuff is worldly and I try to avoid it other than praising God and declaring His goodness as I try to reach out to abuse victims with my postings. God rescued me and protected me and I know that He will do the same for many more who turn to Him. I post on my blog and ChristianBlessings and Christian Gazette to try to reach the different readers. Other than that, really very little social media on my part. I will remain “Secret” until God tells me to reveal my identity. I appreciate your support Steven and pray for God’s blessings upon you.

      • It sounds like you have taken every precaution you can, and used the good judgment God has given you!

I know you have lived through a lot of awful circumstances. Perhaps more than many of us. And the work you do is so important…your information seems to be so helpful to the abused.

Yes, God directs our paths and calls us to walk with trust. I just wanted to advise caution…

It sounds like you have things well in hand, Angel. May your work always be blessed by God and get the results He desires!

      • I deeply appreciate your advice and caution. I have had concerns about all of this but have to walk in obedience and trust God to protect me. There are people who know who I am so all that I can do is pray that they will protect me. Not even my entire family knows. Now, I would not even say that I have experienced more awfuI circumstances than most… on the contrary. But for some reason, God told me to write the book and start the ministry. He called and I answered…so I wait on Him for whatever He wants me to do. I truly appreciate your support and encouragement. Please feel free to email me. I really appreciate your prayers and blessings for me and our ministry as we walk this path. Many, many blessings to you, my friend.

      • I consider you to be a strong woman of great faith, Angel! You are a blessing to all of us, and a great example for us to trust in God’s power to keep us from not only temptation, but from harm as well.

But even though I do not know you well at all, I do know that you give this praise I mention to God, for He is the one who is worthy of it all…

You are courageous and fruitful in your ministry, and may you always be! I thank you for the opportunity to email you, and ask that you email me too. It’s good to have someone to talk with in that way!

I am getting ready for a “prayer post” and want to mention your work in it. I am so moved by your faith and passion for the cause of those abused, and for the God who heals…

And a great many blessings to you, Angel. Your work will not go unrewarded.

      • I am deeply humbled by your words. We serve an awesome God who is worthy to be praised. It’s all about Him. All that I can tell anyone is that God rescued me when I did not even know that I needed rescuing. He has called me to pray for the abused and I look forward to a mighty move of God to rescue many more victims for He is no respecter of persons. I am expecting the unexpected. Nothing is impossible. Thanks Steven for your encouraging words and may God bless you, my friend..

      • God will work His purpose through you, and it may be that because you are so willing to do His bidding, that you may have a part in something very important to many others!

Faith and trust play such a huge part in the life of a Christian. It isn’t a “lifestyle,” it’s a way of life. The scriptures say that God allows us to have life more abundantly.

I think that applies to not only the life in heaven, but in this life on earth as well. If only more people would think about the purposes of God which they can help fill, this world would be so much better off.

Continue to be that advocate for Christ and minister to the cause of abused souls, Angel. You do this so very well!

        Steven πŸ™‚

      • “Thy Kingdom come; Thy Will be done; On Earth as it is in Heaven”… that is His plan. We fall short of the miraculous because of our lack of faith. All things are possible… we just have to believe. Thanks my friend for your words of encouragement. May God pour out His blessings upon you and your family, today and always.

      • I am blessed by God in many ways and through the comforts of loving support through fellow believers like yourself!

It is good to make friends of God’s people. And may He bless you and yours as well…

  4. Wow … Wow … Intense reality … I had no idea about those figures. I really, really, appreciate the work you are doing. This is a huge ministry … You are a warrior for the kiddos. A warrior with beauty and wisdom and love for the children. Peace, T

    • Thank you so much T. My heart just breaks for these victims. They are transported place to place, hidden and abused into submission. They are trapped in a lifestyle where they are forced into sex acts, raped, drugged, etc. They have the ultimate hopelessness with a life expectancy of only a few years. It is horrifying. Thanks for your support, my friend.
