Have You Ever Felt Like Daniel… Abused or Falsely Accused?

Have you ever felt like Daniel…
abused or falsely accused?
Facing trials and tribulations…
when deceptive plots were used?

Have you ever felt like Daniel…
being thrown in a lion’s Den?
Awaiting man’s judgement…
but walking in faith to the end.

Have you ever felt like Daniel…
a victim of schemes and lying…
then having to defend yourself…
staring in the face of a roaring “lion”.

For others planned evil…
and secretly schemed against him.
Conspiring a deceptive plot…
with lions to tear each limb.

Wanting him totally destroyed…
was their ultimate plan.
But they failed to defeat him…
as God held him in His Hand.

So though we feel like Daniel…
thrown into a den of confrontation…
keep walking with Godly Truth…
for we serve a God of restoration.

And as God was with Daniel…
in the midst of the lion’s den…
He will be with us also…
from the beginning to the end.

For He will rescue those who love Him…
and protect them with His might.
And we will not have to lift a finger…
for He will use it as His fight.

Dear Lord, You see the battles that Your children go through as lies and deception are rampant around the world. You know the hearts of each with who is seeking You versus those seeking mammon. You know who are being bought and sold for a price while negating the Truth. You also know who walks with You in Truth and Righteousness. Protect them Lord, as You did Daniel. Close the mouths of the roaring lions who hunger and thirst for their own selfish desires. Raise up Your Army of Daniels who will walk with You in integrity and honor, bringing You all the Glory… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Daniel 6: 19- 23, “Very early the next morning, the king got up and hurried out to the lions’ den. When he got there, he called out in anguish, “Daniel, servant of the living God! Was your God, whom you serve so faithfully, able to rescue you from the lions?” Daniel answered, “Long live the king!   My God sent his angel to shut the lions’ mouths so that they would not hurt me, for I have been found innocent in his sight. And I have not wronged you, Your Majesty.” The king was overjoyed and ordered that Daniel be lifted from the den. Not a scratch was found on him, for he had trusted in his God.”

  2. Have you ever felt like Daniel…abused or falsely accused?……. Yes but I choose to forgive not carry the load, because if I did in the end it would have me on my knees begging for mercy.

  3. What a powerful analogy Sister! Oh it has been a while since I have been here (I follow a LOT of blogs) but it is almost like a feel a comfort, a sereneness despite some of the topics. They can be hard topics but as Christians, who truly believe in Godly Love, we should never shy away from the hard issues but in truth as servants of Christ, should embrace them. Your work is thought-provoking, but is so uplifting, because it shows the hope and promise at the end of a person’s circumstances! God bless Sis!!

  4. oooh, I absolutely love this, though it totally applied and still applies to me, I have friend going through my journey now, sad times in deed i had to send this to her, thank you for sharing always on time. xx
