Cell Phones and Bibles…

This is so true…
and many are so wrong…
as we compare our Bibles…
to use of our cell phones.
So think about these words…
and how much time do you spend…
Do you seek God’s Word…
or the world and your friends.
Do you even put a fraction…
of your time in His Word…
or just hang onto others…
and all things of this world.
For when all is lost in turmoil…
with trials, tribulations, and hardships…
Who will you call  for then…
your cell phone or your “Jesus” relationships.

Dear Lord, I praise You for the grace and mercy that You pour out upon us each day. I thank You for forgiving us for not spending enough time with You and putting other things before You. I ask You Lord to draw us all into a deeper relationship with You, that we will be more like Mary sitting at Your feet and soaking in Your Presence than like Martha who was worried about things of this world.  Turn more hearts to You and reveal to them that You are the Key who we should be calling out to and not those contacts listed on our phones. Show them Lord that You answer when they call… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  1. Oh Secret Angel, you have hit it out of the park! As I sit and look out my window I can see the mountain tops covered with fresh snow. I pause long enough to take in God’s creation, but how often do I take in his word? God is the best friend we could ever have and if we must use our phone we should have Him on speed dial.
