Weary From Our Struggles?

So many of us have been broken by the abuses that we face in this life and the obstacles that we have to overcome. But just remember that God wants to help us through it. He never intended for us to fight these battles alone…

Sometimes we all need a little encouragement…

and this was my Word for the day.

We often get weary from our struggles

and all the battles along the way…

But He never promised a life with ease…

but promised that He would never leave.

For He goes before and stands behind…

guiding and protecting those who believe.

So stand on Truth and Righteousness…

and walk with God at your side.

For He will fight the battles for you…

when in His presence you abide.

I so needed this today. Trying to advocate for my children. I am in a web that blames the victim. I had to stand up to that today. But as I walked away, I felt every bruise and blow. Sometimes I feel that my voice is not heard and that I am alone. Yet, this was the first thing I see when I got on the computer after I had to take a stand. It gave me comfort. It gave me encouragement. I don’t know what God has planned but I am thankful for all He is doing to bring about a hope and a future for the glory of His name.

Amen… Thank you so much for your encouragement to me but I totally understand how you feel. Your words accurately describe my feelings too as we walk these paths that lay before us. All we can do is hold onto God and trust Him to lead us into the future that He has planned as we walk in Spirit, Truth, and righteousness. He calls us to speak out and be His vessels at times… then we just have to trust Him… It’s a walk in faith. I will be praying for you and your situation.
