Dreaming our Dreams…

While we might be tired by now of hearing the theme song from Frozen, it fits in multiple ways with the message that came to my heart for today.

“We spend a lot of time dreaming our dreams. Then, one day, often in a moment, boom, we are living the dream instead of wishing and wondering when will the dream be fulfilled.”

In the song, it says, “Let it go”… multiple times. And, one thing I have learned is if one wants to see a current dream fulfilled, often it requires “letting go” of something from the past. If we choose to let go, we will see the dream fulfilled. If we choose to hold on and not let go, often we remain frozen in the past and do not see a dream fulfilled.

In one Scripture, we are informed that hope deferred will make the heart sick, but a DREAM fulfilled is a tree of life (Proverbs 13:12).And, in Ecclesiastes 3:1, we are told there is a season and time for everything, every matter and every purpose (For our dream to be fulfilled).

Finally, in James 1:4, we are instructed to let patience, endurance and steadfastness have full play and do a thorough work in us so that we may be perfectly and fully developed (with no defects) lacking in nothing (Otherwise, we will be inclined to have unfulfilled dreams).

May all your dreams be fulfilled in 2015!

God bless you,
