Be Strong in the Lord

After a difficult week with many memories surfacing, this song came to me to remind me that God has a plan. There are many times in this life that our plans do not go according to our plan, but God’s plan for us will always be accomplished. He will use all that we have been through as a testament to His Glory as He turns it around for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purposes. He has a plan… so let us not forget why we are here.

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

Dear Lord, we ask for strengthening, healing, and restoration for all who are dealing with wounds from their past. Give us all Your Peace that surpasses all understanding as we walk in obedience to your plan for our lives. Give us insight into Your plans for our futures and wisdom to achieve what You have called us to do. Equip us and guide us to do Your work and accomplish what You have laid before us… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  1. Sweet Angel, I am sorry that you had a tough week. Hopefully this weekend brought you much needed joy. The devil works so hard to pull us down. You are going about God’s business and that makes him mad. Keep up your chin. God is closer to you when bad things are happening, than when things all seem to be working out. Feel peace knowing that He is right there holding your hand. I am here too. Your friend Meghan

    • Thank you so much Meghan. I really appreciate your support!! You are so right too. The devil keeps trying to tear us down but God is our Healer, Protector, and Defender! He takes care of His “children”!! Thanks again and God bless you, my sweet sister!!

      • Yes indeed! I was so lost before I surrendered to our LORD! I meditate on His word everyday. I need His word. So glad that you are using your blog to help survivors. GOD bless you

      • Thank you so much Frachel! I totally agree with you. God rescued me when I did not even know that I needed it by praying His Word and proclaiming it into my life. What He did for me, He can do for many more. God bless you!!
