FEARS… Look At Her Eyes!

Look at her eyes…
and the fears within.
For “If you tell anyone…”
is threatened again and again.
It’s in verbal, emotional…
physical, sexual and more…
Every kind of these abuses…
that we truthfully deplore.
For fear has been instilled…
to keep victims in silence…
with a variety of threats…
from loss of finances to violence.
And though there’s no tape…
and no bruises to show…
the fear is instilled in victims…
and this we need to know.
For control and manipulation…
is how these victims are silenced…
as they fear their abusers…
and the emotional or physical violence.

Dear Lord, only You see the abuses that are done behind closed doors, hidden from man’s natural eyes. Only You see the wounds that are inflicted deep within each victim’s heart and soul. We cry out to You to help these victims. We pray for deliverance from the evils of man and all fear! We pray for total healing and restoration to all victims, that they will come to know that God’s Word is truth and He came to set the captives free and heal the brokenhearted…  Make each one a testament to Your Glory… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Isaiah 61:1

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners…”

  1. I have known that crippling kind of fear both as a child and as an adult. I could have never broken the chains of fear, shame, and self loathing that I was programmed to feel if it had not been for God!

    • Amen!! I agree with you. It is only through God’s grace and mercy that we are set free from the bondage that holds us captive in our past. I am so sorry that you have gone through this abuse. I pray for God’s blessings to be poured into your life.

      • Thank you my sister! I am a work in progress and will only be finished when our Father takes us home. In the past almost 10 years God has helped me overcome so much and first and foremost was my fear of men. Secondly hating myself and that has been a hard one. God put 2 different men in my life to show me that men can be rough around the edges and still be caring of others even if they are not family. The other has turned out to be the love I was always looking for and God sent him when I stopped searching and just let it go. I have only known one other man to love me that much and he died when I was 10. I have learned to love myself more through the living Word of God. I have found that He doesn’t make mistakes and there is no one that doesn’t deserve His love and by hating myself I was mocking what God had made and that it was me and that if God could love me, and Jesus could love me, and the Holy Spirit could love me then I should learn to love me too. I still suffer from a severe anxiety disorder that keeps me home bound most of the time. I suffer still from Clinical Depression, and PTSD. So yes I am still a work in progress. God has blessed me though and He does every day I draw breath. Someday I will be complete there will be no more pain, no more tears, no more mental disorders, and no more bad memories. God has blessed me both deeply and richly! Much love sister and may God bless you deeply and abundantly!

      • Amen! We are all still works in progress, my sister… but praise God that we have found the Key to overcoming. God is so good. I praise Him for what He is doing in our lives. I also wait patiently for Him to bring me my next husband. Hearing your story gives me more hope to just wait on Him. He supplies all of our needs, I will be praying for your total healing and restoration. Many, many blessings to you, my sister!!

      • Praise God indeed my sister! In my own mind I was finished with men and relationships and I remained that way for several years but God had other plans and I am so glad He did. The man He sent I never knew existed after my precious uncle Joe passed away when I was 10. Dwight is true gentleman he takes care of me when can barely move, we have only had cross words twice almost 4 years and have never argued. We study the Bible together and we pray together. I thank God for him because I needed this man and God knew it. He will lead you to the right one as well just make sure you listen for God’s voice. We went through some hard times our second year and almost had to leave and go back to Illinois but God made the way for to stay and for me and Dwight to be together. Be patient my sister our Father knows your needs…much love and prayers for your healing as well.

      • You are welcome my dear sister and your patience will be rewarded by our loving Father! You are right whatever God orchestrates will be perfect for you and it is because first of all He loves you like no other can and sees our hearts in a way we cannot and so the man that comes to you from Him will have the most beautiful heart and will love like you have never been loved. God’s blessing to you my sister and much love!
