Stop Pointing Fingers

Many “Christians” point fingers at others as they point out their “sins”. Some “churches” even ban certain people from their buildings because they are “sinners”. However, we all need to realize that we all sin and it is for these sins that Jesus Christ gave up His life. We are not to judge others. We need to “stop pointing fingers.” Remember these words from this picture… it was “my sin” that nailed him there.”

So many look at others sins…
but fail to look deep within.
And considering what these words say…
we have to look at this another way.
For many point fingers at others…
accusing our sisters and brothers…
but God looks at all sins we make…
not just the others mistakes.
The severity of sin we can’t weigh…
for only God has the final say.
And He will look at all we do…
and He will judge accordingly too.
So don’t point out others sins to accuse…
for this is how some “religious” abuse.
And it’s in humbly realizing we all sin…
that our “Christian” walk can truly begin.
For salvation is a gift from above…
with God’s Grace, Mercy, and redeeming Love.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.” Romans 3:23

“In Him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us.” Ephesians 1:7

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

Dear Lord, we thank You for what You have done for all of us in laying down Your life for our sins. We praise You for Your plan for salvation of each of us and your unlimited Grace and Mercy that You continue to shower upon us. We humble ourselves before You and ask You to purify our hearts. Remove temptation, selfishness, pride, lust, and all of these sins that we have committed against You as we continue to praise You… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  1. To express love to others would change our world. A sin is a sin is a sin. Love our neighbor as ourselves. When a Christian wants to point a finger at one that they feel has done wrong then they only need to look in the mirror. No human is without sin. No one will make it to heaven by their works. That is why Jesus gave his life for each of us. All we need to do is show love. Bless you my friend.

    • Amen. I totally agree. Too many point fingers in the name of “Christianity”… but we need to remember that when we point a finger, at least 3 other fingers are pointed back at ourselves. Thanks for your support Anna. God bless you, my sister!!
