God’s Grace

How many times will You pick me up…

when I keep letting You down?”

These lyrics really touched my heart, and I just wanted to share this song with you. So many times we fail, but God’s grace and mercy are sufficient for all our shortcomings.

There have been  times I have thought these same words,

“Who am I to serve You…

I know I don’t deserve You.

No, we don’t deserve Him…But He loves us so much and blesses us with His Grace. Listen to this song and realize how abundant His Grace is for each of us. He keeps picking us… even when we keep letting Him down.

  1. I am touched ….

Please take away my pain and despair of yesterday and any unpleasant memories and replace them with Your glorious promise of new hope. Show me a fresh HS-inspired way of relating to negative things that have happened. I ask You for the mind of Christ so I can discern Your voice from the voice of my past. I pray that former rejection and deep hurts will not color what I see and hear now.

    • Amen!! I join you in prayer, my friend!! This song touched my heart also and brought tears to my eyes as I thought of the overwhelming Love that God has for us. We can never repay Christ for what He has done for us… but we can give Him our lives to use us.
Lord, purify our hearts and souls and transform our lives that we will be pure vessels for You to use to pour out to others as we walk with You into our futures. Amen.

    • Hi Terri… Thank you for commenting. I can tell you that the song did the same thing to me. I had never heard it before but have listened to it again and again. Sometimes we need a reminder for what God has done and continues to do for us with His abundant Grace. Thanks again and many blessings to you!
