A Message to Us All: Dry Bones Come Alive

This is a message to us all. No matter where we are in our faith, God wants to show us more.

We call out to dry bones…

come alive, come alive!

We call out to dead hearts…

come alive, come alive!

Up out of the ashes…

let us see an army rise!!

I heard the words to this song and feel that the Lord is calling out to many of us to come alive. How many times do we become complacent in where we are in our relationship with the Lord. How many of us sit in church or “Christian” groups and hear the same sermon or do the same thing again and again. There is so much more that we do not know yet… that He has not even revealed yet. And if you think it has all been revealed, then you need to think again. God is calling us into deep relationships with Him. It is only as we walk with Him in “friendship” that He will reveal the deep secrets that remain hidden. Listen to Him. He is calling out to our “dry bones.” He wants us to seek more… and when we seek, we will find.

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” Matthew 7:7
