MY FATHER’S HAND

For Father’s Day weekend,

I feel that this is very appropriate for us to remember and honor our Heavenly Father.

“My Father,
who has given them to Me, is greater than all;
no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.” John 10:29

“A Father of the fatherless, and a Judge of the widows,
is God in his holy habitation.” Psalm 68:5

“Our Father
which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
Amen.” Matthew 6: 9-13

Dear Lord, I praise and honor You today. I thank You for Your Love and Peace that surpasses all understanding. I thank You for Your protection and provision as You hold us in the palm of Your Hands. Thank You for the abundant grace and mercy that You pour upon us daily. And I thank You that though our earthly fathers have failed us many times, You have never failed us. You never leave us or forsake us. You never abuse us. You give us strength when we are weak and count every tear when we cry. Please forgive us for the many times that we have failed You. Draw us nearer to You and hold us in Your Hands to bring us the comfort that we need. Orchestrate our steps to walk with You into the futures that You have planned for each of us… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
