The “Repertoire” of an Abuser

As I prayed about a message about abuse today, the word “repertoire” came to me… and I had to look it up. A “repertoire” is a complete list of all the things that a person is able to do… all their skills and capabilities. The message today is that abuse is hidden, it’s secretive and deceptive… and no abuser will list it on their “repertoire” of talents and accomplishments. But God knows….

The “repertoire” of an abuser…
looks the same as most…
with all skills and talents…
and accomplishments to boast.
But no where on their list…
will “abuser” be found…
for their anger and hostility…
will temporarily be bound.
For verbal and emotional…
and all other abuses will be hidden…
  NOT listed on their repertoire…
where “truths” should be written.
But this truth will be exposed…
as their anger will be revealed.
For one day they will lash out…
and “ABUSER” will no longer be concealed.
But here is a warning…
that every person ought to know.
We all have a “repertoire” in Heaven…
where every word or act will show.
For God keeps a record…
of every idle word we speak.
Much less each abusive act…
against those innocent and meek.
And though some may be deceived…
by earthly “repertoires” written this way…
  all “repertoires in Heaven” are inclusive…
  and will be answered for on Judgement Day.

“But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matthew 12: 36-37

~~~~~~~~
“You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. It is written:
“‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,
‘every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will acknowledge God.’”
So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.” Romans 14:10-12
