Prostitution… Not a Choice Willfully Made

As I watched the attached video, Fancy, my heart melted for the many children who are forced into prostitution by the ones who should be protecting and nurturing them. We need to open our eyes and realize that the majority of these who are trapped in this lifestyle are not there by choice. Please join me in prayer for every one trapped in prostitution.

Prostitution…
not a choice willfully made.
Especially involving children…
many too young to choose a “trade”.
For most are victims…
of the woundedness of their pasts…
whether poverty or addictions…
or domestic violence and it’s wrath.
And sadly some parents…
force their own child to do “tricks”…
beginning a life of prostitution…
for their own parent’s addictive fix.
And child sex slavery…
is becoming more rampant today…
with increasing porn and prostitution…
leaving many children trapped this way.
And so many of us frown…
and seeing prostitutes we immediately condemn.
But do we stop to think some are victims…
never wanting this life of prostitution to begin.
Cause many are forced into “sex”…
and even drugged into submission.
While many ignore their captivity…
just wanting their conviction.
So next time you see…
a young girl “patrolling” the street…
please stop before judging her…
and wonder if she is a victim being beat.
Is she being forced into sex…
by others who have control?
Or is she willingly participating…
with a different story to be told.
Let us pray for these victims…
who are being forced into this life.
For no “body” should be sold…
and forced to endure this strife.
We need to look at them differently…
like seeing through God’s eyes…
to see their wounds and brokenness…
which no makeup can disguise.
See their hurt and their pain…
with their joy ripped from their heart.
Then join me in prayer for the broken…
to each to have a new start.

Dear Lord, we come to You in prayer for all of these victims. Only You see the multitude of young women and children who have been forced into a life of prostitution for various reasons and into sex trafficking.
You hear their cries in the darkness
and see the pain deep within their souls.
You know their stories
and the many that go untold.
You see the many addictions
that have been created to control.
And only You see the hiding places
where lives are bought and sold.
Lord, we lift them all up to You today and ask You to deliver them from this evil. That they will be freed and restored with healing to their hearts and souls. Let them know they are loved and not just a “toy” for man to use. And raise them up to be a voice for the voiceless who are trapped in this world of sexual abuse and addictions… in Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

  1. Good morning, Secret Angel, thank you for the reminder of the truth of human trafficking. In the poem only “men” are mentioned, but there are bad women too, as I’m sure you know. Again, thank you!

    • Thank you for your encouraging words. I think in the prayer I wrote “man” but it is actually in reference to “human”, not necessarily man or woman. There are many abusive women as well as men. In the video that I shared, it was a mother that sent her daughter into prostitution. It did not even appear that there was a father. The brokenness of the family lead many to follow that brokenness into their own lives. So many wounds are inflicted and so many wrong or negative decisions are made because of these wounds. I pray that God rescues more victims and sets them free from the abuses and woundedness of their pasts. God bless you, my brother!!

  3. Yes it is True secretangel many young girls have been forced into Prostitution, Nepal woman have the highest suicide rate in the world, many of the lower class girls are abducted or sold for this reason and than they are left on the streets when they are older and not wanted anymore and some are pregnant , they have no food or shelter so they often kill themselves

Alissa who owns the Orphanage I support, rescues these young girls and boys too who have no families and who also mostly live on the street and than provides for their needs including Love and Christian Teaching and Alissa also educates them giving then a good foundation for life and many Christian Orphanages do the same all around the world.

Praise God He has His willing workers everywhere!

    Christian Love – Anne.

    • Amen!! God is calling His army from around the world to reach out to those broken and in bondage. I praise God for what they are doing and for those like you that support this great ministry. God bless you, my sweet sister!
