This is my message for today. These words came to me… “God blesses us so w can bless others”. So many don’t even see God’s Hand in our blessings. We live in homes while others live on streets. We sleep peacefully in beds while others lay on the ground. Many feel safe and secure while others live in fear and turmoil. Sometimes we just need to open our eyes and hearts to what is going on around us and give a little more to help others. It is what God has called each of us to do…
God blesses us…
so we can bless others.
He gives us all we have…
to share with sisters and brothers.
He gives us comfort…
so we can comfort others in need…
for we will have compassion…
as God’s comfort did lead.
He gives us Love…
so we can love in return…
giving Love to others…
as we live and learn.
He gives us treasures…
not just for us to store…
but to share with others…
the hungry and the poor.
He gives us mercy…
and grace for all our deeds…
so we can give to others…
for grace and mercy we all need.
He give us hope…
when we feel so hopeless…
so we can share hope…
to all others in brokenness.
He gives us Life…
to be lived more abundantly…
not to be used and abused…
but we help others so reluctantly.
For we hesitate to help…
and don’t want to get involved…
when we see others abused and broken…
so the situations go unresolved.
We see the homeless…
and step over them in haste…
not considering their suffering…
as some dig for food in waste.
We see the abused and broken…
and even families remain in silence…
instead of speaking out…
against such domestic violence.
We see the young prostitutes…
walking nightly on the streets…
not considering they may be victims…
getting drugged, raped, and beat.
But God does bless us…
so we can be a blessing to others…
to be used as His vessel…
to reach out to sisters and brothers.
So think about your life…
and all that seems right…
and then think about the suffering…
who need help to see the Light.
Then give help to someone today…
for there are many in need…
be His Light on a hill…
and He will bless your deed.
Give hope to the hopeless..
and show kindness to the broken…
for we are all His children…
and for each His Word has been spoken.

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10
“…whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them…” Matthew 7:12 (The Golden Rule)
“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” Acts 20:35
Dear Lord, help us all to be a blessing to others. That we will reach inside our abundance to give abundantly to others… and that we will even reach deep inside our own lack to share what we do have with those who don’t. Help us to see the needs of others as more important than then needs of ourselves. And open our eyes to see the difference between wants and needs and to help someone in need, especially of food, clothing, and shelter which are necessities that many do not have. Help us to bless others, regardless of any blessings that we receive in return… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Amen! I couldn’t agree with you more. Thanks for sharing such a great post.
Be A Blessing!

Thanks LaTrice!! We serve an awesome God, my sister!! He gives us little reminders when we needed them. Blessings to you!!
Amen!
This is a beautiful thought Angel. It’s a fresh message, one which I haven’t seen on a page or blog in quite a while. I’m going to RB it and share it with FB…
Have a super day today!
Steve
Thanks Steve. The Lord gave me those words so it was “fresh off the Press.” I don’t have time to read many blogs so most of what I write is straight from the heart unless I reblog something that touches me.
The first priority is to post Angel. Try to get your message of hope and Godly faith out there to as many as possible.
Once you have a long-time readership here, you will have people looking for what you have to say.
You have spent a good bit of time and effort building up your page and you have a book or two out as well. This helps people begin to look for you.
Just keep posting and let the love flow from your heart!
Steve 🙂
Thanks for the advice. I really appreciate it.
No problem. I don’t want to give advise where it’s not wanted, but I struggle with posting time vs. reading other pages and answering comments, etc. I need to post most every day if I can…
Steve
I totally understand. I have the same issues with time constraints.
The faster I go the behinder I get!

Reblogged this on The True Light… and commented:
Our blessings are not just for us alone. We are blessed so that we may bless others in our Godly works…Steve
Thanks for the reblog Steve… May God pour out His “blessings” upon you, my brother!
Thank you “sis,” you are a blessing to know here and a favorite to see in my comments section. I know you are very busy, but you find time for me and my page almost every day and I thank you for the support!
🙂
Amen. May our prayers be for God to make us a blessing to those He sends across our paths.
Amen!! I stand with you in prayer.
