A Girl in Danger

A girl in danger…
is the image I saw today…
so I asked God to protect her…
and ask you to join me to pray.
For this unconscious girl,
hung flaccid in the man’s arms…
as he carried her limp form…
and my fear was for her harm.
Could this be a date rape…
or domestic violence situation?
Could it be a kidnapping…
or victim of an altercation?
Whatever the scenario…
or whatever the warning may be…
I pray for these victims…
for their health and safety.
I pray for God to stop this…
before this girl or others are harmed…
for many girls are tricked…
and fall for man’s deceitful charm.
I pray that our youth…
will realize the dangers that lurk…
for girls and boys are being stolen…
then sex trafficking they then work.
And this is not of choice…
for they are drugged, beaten, and raped.
And this girl was unconscious…
and her inability to say NO was no mistake.
And this girl was unknown…
but any one of our children she may represent.
So we need to pray for all victims…
for in prayer these abuses we may prevent.

Dear Lord, only You know the reason for this image that flashed before my eyes and I ask You to protect all our children from the dangers that lurk around them. Open their eyes to see the evil that stalks them in the darkness. Help them to realize the dangers that linger over the internet and in social gatherings, just trolling for their next victim. Surround them with Your army of angels to protect them from predators who seek innocent, unsuspecting victims. Fill them with Your Spirit and give them the gift of discernment so that they will know who they can trust and who is not trustworthy. For those innocent victims of date rape, rape, sex trafficking, and etc, we pray for their healing and restoration. We ask You to deliver them from this evil and return all who are lost to their families. Heal the brokenness that keeps them bound and set them free from the abuses of their past. Bring all of these victims to safety… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
