This song touches my heart every time that I hear it… for several different reasons. There are so many who are hurting and struggling with various circumstances in their lives during this Christmas season. Let us all open our hearts to help others in need as we share the Love of Christ with our fellow brothers and sisters.
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers
and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40

The Christmas Shoes
Amid the spending mania that our culture associates with Christmas, this is a message all too often forgotten. Thank you, Secret Angel, for reminding us.
Thanks Anna. Yes, sometimes we need little reminders of what it is all about amidst the hustle and bustle of the “season” that has been created in this area of the world.Hoping you had a Merry Christmas and wishing you a very Happy New Year!
Oh.. I lovethat movie!
I do too. It brings tears to my eyes. Such Love and caring in the midst of pain and sorrow. Thanks for the comment and God bless you.
This one is especially touching Angel. We need to keep this thought of giving to others all year round! I have struggled with this at times, yet at other times I don’t. I tend to give clothing to the Salvation Army mostly. I’ve even thrown good clothes into public dumpsters because I know the homeless will “dumpster dive” for things at times. Is that crazy or what???
Steve
I totally understand what you are saying. So many homeless and broken are in need of things that so many of us take for granted. We all just need to open our hearts to give with love and kindness to others. Many, many blessings to you Steve!
When we help others in need, we are acting on God’s behalf. He wants us to do these things and may He receive the glory and praise for what we do!
Amen!
