The Walking Wounded– Chapter Four (The WW Give-Away Continues)

Today we continue the weekly postings with excerpts or summaries of each chapter of The Walking Wounded in celebration of it’s Participant’s Manual being recently released for group study.  This will be followed by a “give-away” of a combination of The Walking Wounded: The Path From Brokenness to Wholeness and The WW Participant’s Manual in a drawing which will include the names of all who comment and contribute their thoughts and even their own testimony of brokenness to wholeness. Please join us on this journey…

Bullying and all its forms are just new terms for the same old
word—abuse. Abuse includes intimidation, embarrassing comments,
constant criticism, name-calling and humiliating remarks.
Sadly, all of these things can be found routinely in schools and on
many cyber social networks. Thousands of teens are hurt by this
form of abuse every day.

Most of my life has been affected by bullying. I had learned after
all those years to suffer in silence. However, this chapter is dedicated
to my friends who lost a child to bullying and emotional abuse. This
young girl had so much to live for but suffered in silence until she
could no longer tolerate it. She tragically ended her own life.

  1. Sin is the old fashioned word for abuse as abuse in general is the disregard for the personal boundaries of another. Sin respects no boundary. Every abuser employing every form of abuse is a bully.

  2. Oh, I hate to hear about anyone who takes their own life for any reason. For any who read this, there is effective and loving help out there and ending your life is never the answer! Find help in places like this one, fight the despair of abuse and don’t give in to desperate acts like suicide…
