The Wounds of Brokenness (Romans 11:29)

This is a message for those who have been broken by the abuses of this world. Remember, God has a plan for each of our lives and that plan will not change. It is up to each of us to reach for the fullness of His plan as we overcome the brokenness of our past. It’s our choice…

The wounds of brokenness…
is what so many have today.
But they don’t even realize…
that these wounds get in their way.
For God has a wonderful plan…
precisely designed for us all…
when we totally submit to Him…
and obediently answer His call.
But anger and resentment…
and bitterness get in the way…
along with destructive words…
with negativity that many say.
So whether spoken by others…
or words of self-defeat…
we have to hold all captive…
and lay it all at God’s Feet.
And we need to be healed…
of the wounds upon our heart…
so give it all to God…
so from brokenness we can depart.
For realizing our potential…
as God sees in us all…
is key to overcoming this world…
as we obediently answer His call.
For His plans for each were written…
in a book of life like stone…
and His gifts and callings won’t change…
but as we overcome they’ll be shown.

“For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” Romans 11:29

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3

Dear Lord, we praise You for the gifts and callings that You have upon each life. We ask You to bring healing and restoration to each and lead us into the plans that You have written for us all. Help us to walk in the fullness of Your plans for Your Kingdom purposes to be achieved our lives. That all the pain and suffering that we have experienced will become a testament to Your grace and mercy as we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony… in Jesus’ ‘Name. Amen.

    • He heals those who want to be healed… though many times I wish He would speed it up some. However, many times, it is not until we look back at where we were and where we are now that we can see the progress that we have made. Again, we all have a choice. Remember, He opens the door to those who knock. I am still praying for doors to be opened but we have to walk in faith.
