Crushed? He’s Making Diamonds Out of Us

I heard this song today and the lyrics just really jumped out at me. So many of us have been broken and even crushed… but God is making diamonds out of dust, and yes, He is making diamonds out of us. He will use all that we have been through and bring healing and restoration, beauty for ashes, and raise us up as a testament to His Glory and Power.

“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.” Isaiah 61:3

“Diamonds” by Hank Nelson

Here and now I’m in the fire,
In above my head
Oh, oh, oh oh, oh, oh
Being held under the pressure,
Don’t know what’ll be left
Oh, oh, oh oh, oh, oh
But it’s here in the ashes
I’m finding treasure

He’s making diamonds, diamonds
Making diamonds out of dust
He is refining in His timing
He’s making diamonds out of us

I’ll surrender to the Power
Of being crushed by Love
Oh, oh, oh oh, oh, oh
Till the beauty that was hidden
Isn’t covered up
Oh, oh, oh oh, oh, oh
Oh it’s not what I hoped for
It’s something much better

He’s making diamonds, diamonds
Making diamonds out of dust
He is refining in His timing
He’s making diamonds out of us

Oh the joy of the Lord
It will be my strength
When the pressure is on
He’s making diamonds

Oh the joy of the Lord
It will be my strength
When the pressure is on
He’s making diamonds

Oh the joy of the Lord
It will be my strength
When the pressure is on
He’s making, he’s making

He’s making diamonds, diamonds
Making us rise up from the dust
He is refining in His timing
He’s making diamonds out of dust
Making diamonds out of us

I won’t be afraid to shine
I won’t be afraid to shine
I won’t be afraid to shine
Cause He’s making diamonds out of dust
Making diamonds out of us

  3. Two kinds of pain to know about…… productive and non productive. yeshua endured productive pain.

Many will endure non productive and not get to see it let alone understand it is either a first trip around the mountain or another trip with just different landscape.

Children of Israel were not ever taught the difference and were destined to circle the mountain…… many times before graced with the ability to cross over to learn how to discern pain and to fight as the cloud and pillar so led them.

Imagine if they had agreed to have submitted to God when initilly called from Mt Sinai to have come up and be immersed in to the presence of God! They would have not have to have ever circled the mounaint while experiemcing so much of non productive pain.

No one else has to either when they discover one of the most overlooked and mis understood principles which ‘church’ seemed to havepartially missed.

It is found under the heading called “elementary doctrines”.

It contains the same invite as what the Children of Israel were given to come up to Sinai.

If so led by way of the Holy Spirit it will accelerate the lengthy and crushing process making coal to diamonds.Which empowers those led to dispense with “passing go” and be able to collect free $.

SEE elementary doctrines in the Sam Soleyn teachings.

    • Amen!! So many of us have gone around the mountain until we finally find the Key to overcoming. Most of the church is still “drinking milk” while God is wanting us to “eat meat.” However, with meat, there will be bones. We have to be able to discern the meat from the bones as our “diet” advances from the Church Age into the Kingdom Age. It is that time…

    • My dear sister, we have eternity! We can choose to live it in the ashes or on the streets of Gold… and that choice only takes a split second to ask Jesus into our hearts.
