A blog reaching out to victims of abuse and others in need, providing insight about abuse, hope for the future, and guidance to see THE LIGHT that lead Secret Angel out of the darkness of her own abusive situation and helped her to not only survive but to overcome.
There are times that we have cried and prayed and done all that we can do for certain situations in our lives… then we need to just be still and give it all to God… and trust Him with the outcome.
“Be still… and know that I Am God.” Psalm 46:10
“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16
One of the hardest things to do for me at least is to as they say let go and let God. First I believe it’s a part of my nature I was raise to handle problems on my own, it’s part of my military training, it’s part of being a man.
Then I stop and thing of Philippians 2:6-11 (KJV) 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Kinda makes me wonder why it took so long to “Be still and know that I am your God”
