So many have been broken…
but are now stronger than they know…
for they have endured the suffering…
though most wounds don’t even show.
And they have gotten stronger…
with the struggles they’ve overcome…
for with perseverance they’ve been equipped…
for whatever in the future is to come.
For we never really know…
what the future holds in store…
we can only look back…
to see how we overcame before.
And as we remember our struggles…
we know that God was in our midst…
for we realize what He did for us…
and there’s no doubt that He truly exists.
For little miraculous signs…
were given along the way…
so we know that He’ll continue to help us…
as we overcome each new upcoming day.
So let’s keep moving forward…
into the future day by day…
and we will continue to rely on Him…
for His guidance and protection along the way.

“Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.” Romans 5:3-5
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

So true, far to many choose to let the filth of life’s trails, roadblocks, and yes abuse stop them dead in our tracks instead of choosing to be strong and courageous, over comers in Christ who strengthens His chosen children. While I am not implying this is an easy task in fact I believe it is impossible to fully recover from brokenness without Christ with Him it is possible.
I totally agree with you. All things are possible with Christ who gives us strength… and healing, restoration, and redemption. Our wholeness will come through Him.

Hi Joanna. I don’t know how all of the links work but I know that you can either use reblog or “press this”.
I’ll try it again sometime. I had limited time then and didn’t have time to investigate. Thanks.
