When Your Heart Breaks… For The “Other Woman”

When your heart breaks
for the “other woman”…
for you know her pain…
inflicted from the same man.
For his abusive ways…
continued with her…
and now adultery…
will make her life a blur.
For so many women…
trust these lying men…
who manipulate and deceive…
to abuse and cheat again.
for lustful eyes stray…
when the new becomes old…
and it’s the same story…
another adultery being told.

And my heart breaks today…
as another affair was revealed…
so I pray for his current wife…
that her heart will be healed.
And I pray for my children…
who just found out his lies…
for he is their father…
connected by soul-ties.
So Lord, protect my children…
and his current wife…
that his adulterous ways…
will be cut from this life.
That he will turn to You…
and they will all be healed…
as his current exploits…
will be suddenly revealed.
For abuse and adultery…
are not in Your plan…
so bring deliverance to all…
and please finally change this man.

  1. I have seen adultery even in the church, and it is so sad. It is made worse if combined with other abuse. We can get ourselves into such big messes…even Christians, as we are not perfect at all!

    • Thanks Joanna. My heart aches for your loss and for your children’s loss. So many unanswered questions are left with a premature death such as your husband. I pray that God will give you all the answers that you need with the peace and comfort that can only come from Him. Many, many blessings to you, my sister!!

    • Hi Joanna. Most of my postings are things that I have experienced or have felt God leading me to write from past experiences. This one was written the day that I found out that my ex was cheating on his new wife. My heart broke for her. He once told me that she was just like me… “sweet, kind, innocent, and naive.” I have prayed that he would not hurt her but my kids have witnessed differently.
