Abusers and Adulterers Seek Their Target

Image result for Abusers and adultery

Abusers and adulterers seek their target…
then they flatter and flirt…
while the unsuspecting victim…
doesn’t realize the potential hurt.
For “wolves in sheep’s clothing”…
hide their motive as they deceive…
but so many unsuspecting victims…
accept what they see and believe.

For “testing the waters”…
is what many abusers do…
as they test boundaries…
and victim’s reactions too.
For they try to see…
just how far they can go…
while not exposing too much…
till the time they want you to know.

And so are the lustful…
who go around seeking prey…
for they have wounded many…
with their repeated deceptive way.
For stories of an “unhappy marriage”…
or “divorcing” aren’t always true…
for many “test the waters”…
just to see what you will do.

So beware of these deceivers…
who will lie their way into your heart…
for they begin with words of kindness…
but abuse and misuse will eventually start.
And for many who commit adultery…
leaving their spouse is not in their plan…
as they just want “to test the waters”…
but these victims just don’t understand.

  2. A wonderful post, Angel. Yes, we all want the loving touch and warmth of a relationship with another. That’s why God made men and women to be together. But this desire can blind us to the potential abuser, so we must be careful. This is not to say we hide away from chances at love, we just need to be watchful and give things some time; let things develop more slowly.
