Troubles… Seen in Homes and Around the World Today

Image result for abuse, addictions, and violence

Troubles…
seen in homes and around the world today…
with abuse, addictions, and violence…
and more threats of destruction each day.
With financial burdens increasing…
and various abuses in the home…
to rising alcohol and drug addictions…
through the streets many of these roam.
And with protesters in the streets…
encouraged and even paid to fight…
and more and more countries on edge…
while others send bombs on test flights.
So much turmoil is being witnessed…
as tribulations seem to come and go…
like the bands of a storm get closer…
and Jacob’s Troubles predicted long ago.
Now we can overcome the turmoil…
for God has given us the Key…
as we stand on His Word…
and humble ourselves before Thee.
For He protects and provides…
and He will heal and restore…
but it’s our choice to make…
to focus on the world or seek Him for more.

“Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.” Jeremiah 30:7

Dear Lord, only You see the extent of what is happening in the hearts of man, whether in the homes, the streets, or around the world. We pray Psalm 91 for protection over all of Your children. We pray for Peace that surpasses all understanding in the midst of our storms.  Bring healing and restoration to our hearts and souls, our families and communities, as well as our countries. Please lead each person and every nation to accomplish what You have set before it to do for Your Kingdom… in Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

  2. Yes there are a number of abuses in this world…sadly. And even more shamefully, there will always be on this earth. Jesus will have to put an end to it all. But until that happens, each person has to get out of their own abusive relationship, with God’s help.
