“Lord, Help Me Get One More!”

“Lord, help me get one more!”
were words I heard the medic say…
as I watched a movie about a soldier…
who did not shoot guns but would pray.
And as He saved many wounded…
carrying them off the field one by one…
he would cry out to God to help him…
until ultimately this battle was won.
And my heart just melted…
as I watched this story that’s true…
for this soldier faced many obstacles…
but he persevered to see it through.
For how many soldiers join an army…
and feel they are not to touch a gun…
but want to save lives as a medic…
which just left his commanders stunned.
So into this battle he finally went…
armed with a helmet, bible, and medical kit…
only to save countless lives…
after the army tried to declare him unfit.
But when the battle was finally over
with many believing a miracle happened that day…
many soldiers realized his courage…
and the Power of God when we humbly pray.
And so many have been wounded…
with many lost souls to be saved too…
so let’s cry out to God together…
Lord, Help Me Get One More for You!

Dear Lord, only You see the multitude of wounded around the world. We humbly come before You and ask You to rescue the wounded and the broken. Please Lord, we ask for one more each day. That these victim of abuses, sex trafficking, unhealthy relationships, etc will all be rescued and set free from the bondage of their past. We declare Psalm 91 over all your children and ask for Your Hand of protection and provision over all with healing and restoration… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

    • Please repost any posting that you would like. It was an awesome movie that just brought tears to my eyes. I just praise God for bringing more Christian movies that give all the glory to Him.

      • Hi Angel! Thanks for the permission to re-post your great stories and poems! I’m with you, I wish Hollywood would make more films about the true God and give Him the glory He deserves. Sadly, I’m not holding my breath…
