Patience…

Image result for good things come to those who wait

Patience…
is a virtue we should all seek…
instead of impatience…
with frustrations from which we speak.
For God’s timing is different…
and most definitely not our own…
but when we wait on Him…
His blessings will be known.
Now we have all been impatient…
and acted out of haste…
instead on waiting on God…
and avoiding needless waste.
For God will orchestrate our path…
if we will only wait on Him…
and not rush into decisions…
where regret seems to never end.
So wait on the Lord…
and patiently seek His will…
for He will bless your steps…
when it’s His plan you want to fulfill.

Dear Lord, we humbly come before You and repent for the innumerable times that we have been impatient and acted out of haste. We repent for the wrong decisions that we have made and the times that we have acted in disobedience. Please forgive us from the sins of our past and help us to move patiently into the future with You as we strive to fulfill Your kingdom purpose in our lives… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!” Galatians 5: 22-23

  1. As a Kingdom child we have entered a timeless eternity in Messiah’s Holy Spirit. As His servants, vessels and disciples we live out our lives in obedient love. Patience is part of our new nature given us. An inner strength and discernment to be alert, to be watchful and to wait upon the Lord even as we go about our present circumstances. Our living hope burns brightly. And in all of our days in our body we walk in that Light along our own unique path. Thank you dear sister.
