We All Need Transformation— Like Saul Changed to Paul

We all need transformation…
like Saul changed to Paul…
for we are all sinners…
and from God’s graces fall.
For we are not God…
and should not judge others…
but are to be more “Christ-like”…
loving all sisters and brothers.

Now this is not easy…
as the world is today…
with the violence and turmoil…
and increasing evil seen each day.
But when we have an encounter…
with our Creator of all things…
our lives will be forever changed…
with the transformation it brings.

So I pray for “Damascus Road encounters”…
with spiritual awakening in all…
that we will realize God’s Truth…
and desire to answer His call.
That a passion will be ignited…
with His Fire within to be untamed…
as our spirits become awakened…
and our lives will never be the same.

For when we are lead by His Spirit…
more hidden truths will be revealed…
to walk into the fullness of His plan…
with wounds of our past to be healed.
And we will be empowered…
as we then answer God’s call…
with our own lives transformed…
just like Saul was changed to Paul.

Saul’s Conversion– Acts 9: 1-6
9 Meanwhile, Saul was uttering threats with every breath and was eager to kill the Lord’s followers.[a] So he went to the high priest. 2 He requested letters addressed to the synagogues in Damascus, asking for their cooperation in the arrest of any followers of the Way he found there. He wanted to bring them—both men and women—back to Jerusalem in chains.

3 As he was approaching Damascus on this mission, a light from heaven suddenly shone down around him. 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?”

5 “Who are you, lord?” Saul asked.

And the voice replied, “I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting! 6 Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

  1. A very good example for all of us, Angel. Yes, we are all sinners and we all need to work out our own salvation with respect to the commands of God. This requires that we follow what His will is for us, which requires a change in the way we live…
