Watered down Christianity…
have turned many people away…
by self-righteousness displayed…
or judgmental comments they say.
And while many claim to be Christian…
when on a church pew they may sit…
they partake in unChristian behaviors…
like their love for God is counterfeit.
For if we truly love God…
then pleasing Him should be our desire…
not to just go with the crowd…
like going to church on Sunday is required.
So just remember this one thing…
before you point a finger at another…
that the other 4  fingers point back at you…
while only one points to the other.
And God does not want us to judge…
like He said “Let him without sin cast the first stone”…

for He knows everything we have ever done…
and all things hidden will one day be known.
But the unGodly behaviors of many…
have given “Christianity” a bad name…
so those who desire to walk in righteousness arise…
for “Believers” and “Christians” are no longer the same.
For if you claim to be a Christian…
then “Christ-like” you should desire to be…
believing in our Lord, Jesus Christ…
and choosing to walk in Love and humility.

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.” 1 John 2:15-16

“When pride comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom. The integrity of the upright will guide them, But the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them.” Proverbs 11:2-3

“Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.” Ephesians 5:1-5

  2. We have a hard enough time getting people to fellowship with us as it is! We don’t need this kind of person to mix with those who do come to services. I’m going to re-blog this, Angel…thank you.

  3. This rather ambiguous. Can you clarify what you mean about judging others and judgement. Any examples?

Keep in mind we are supposed to judge, just not hypocritically and use righteous judgement.

    • Hi Virtuous Desires! Sorry if you felt that this was ambiguous. First, I don’t think that I used the word “judgement”. The word was “judgmental”. Now, as I was writing a response, I just felt lead by the Holy Spirit to attach this video. This is an example of how many churches are today. Now God wants us to use righteous judgment as we walk through life to guide us in every decision that we make… and it is only by His Holy Spirit that we can truly be “Spirit-led” to discern what is of God and what is not. Just because something or someone does not fit the “mold” of man’s thinking, does not mean that it is not ordained by God for a time such as this. God’s blessings to you, my friend!!!
