“A Story-Teller” … or Just A Liar

This is for all of those who have the misfortune of having “story-tellers” or otherwise known as liars in their family. Children, even adult children, have a hard time at times dealing with the word “liar” and the realization that there are even parents that can not be trusted.

“A Story-Teller” …
is a term I heard this week
to describe someone who lies…
with many words that they speak.
Because sometimes it’s easier…
for the child to use this term…
to describe a parent who lies…
with multiple “stories” confirmed.
For if someone repeatedly lies…
then how do you know what’s true?
And how can you trust someone…
who repeatedly tries to deceive you?
So a “story teller” is just a liar…
but it’s an easier term to bare…
for it’s difficult for their children…
cause a “liar” for a parent is so unfair.
So let’s pray for these children…
and these “story-tellers” that lie…
that they will be delivered from this…
and speak words that children can rely.
That the only stories that are told…
will always be explicitly truthful…
with both parents walking in righteousness…
with every word from their mouth fruitful.
And that all the lying will stop…
and there will be no more fabrications…
with deliverance of this for the bloodlines…
so it’ill no longer be passed to next generations.

Dear Lord, we come humbly to You and ask for deliverance from this spirit of deception that has come into bloodlines. That the lies and manipulations of man will be exposed and the “story-tellers” will be transformed to speak truth and walk in righteousness with You… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  2. It has to be hard to love and trust a parent who uses lies to manipulate a child. Thank the good Lord I didn’t have that experience in my life.
