Psychological abuse…
is like living in turmoil everyday…
with negative words and threats…
and abuses increasing along the way.
Never knowing what will trigger…
the next attack that’s sure to come…
for the cycle of abuse is exhausting…
and difficult for many to overcome.
For various attack after attack…
cycles its victims day after day…
like circling the drain…
with brokenness along the way.
And so many hit rock bottom…
psychologically broken by man…
when too many don’t realize the abuse…
and don’t even understand.

Dear Lord, only You can see the multitude that are being psychologically abused and broken by the antics of man. We pray for these abuses to be exposed and the cycle of abuse to be broken so these victims can be free. Bring healing and restoration to each with empowerment to overcome… in Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen!!

This is a wonderful post. Psychological abuse in my opinion is far worse than physical abuse. I say this because a bruise, a cut can heal but it’s much harder to heal from the pain that continues to live in our hearts and minds from enduring the emotional rollercoaster from an emotionally abusive abuser. I stand in agreement with you today praying for healing for all those in need of healing and restoration. Myself included.
So true. It is like an emotional roller-coaster and the wounds take much longer to heal. I actually wrote about this roller-coaster and look forward to hearing what you think about my book. May God bringing healing and restoration to every wound!

This is very common in sexual abuse also. Man breaks the victim to the point of almost destroying his/her soul. God can heal it if we let Him.
Yes, it is. Many have been destroyed by this abuse. But God can heal all wounds… but we have to release all our pain to Him. Many blessings to you, Sue!
