Domestic Violence Awareness: Child Sex Abuse

Children are a gift from God…
whether a little girl or a boy…
to be nurtured and protected…
not used for anyone’s sex toy.
But the perversity of man…
has wounded many little children…
who have fallen victim to immorality…
with society’s addiction to sexual sin.
For many little victims are hidden…
behind their own closed doors at night…
where families and trusted friends…
commit these crimes out of sight.
And the problem continues to grow…
with pornography and child sex trafficking…
where children are raped and exploited…
with increasing numbers that are baffling.
So if you think child pornography is innocent…
then you better think again…
because the exploitation of children is growing…
and it needs to come to an end.

Dear Lord, only You know the multitude of innocent children who have been victimized by sexual immorality around the world. You know the wounds that have been inflicted upon them by families, friends, or even strangers. You know every child that has been stolen from families and trafficked for sex and even know where they are being hidden. We pray for every child taken from a loving home to be returned. And only You see the multitude of children who are victimized in their own homes. We pray that all abusers will be exposed and these children will be set free from the sexual abuses that are committed by those who should be protecting them. We pray Psalm 91 over every child and every victim of abuse. We ask You to deliver them from these abuses and bring healing and restoration to every heart and soul… in Jesus’ Name, we pray.  Amen.
