Prostitution…
not a “profession” desired by most…
for it is usually out of desperation…
and not a career many would boast.
For many have been victims…
of horrific violence in their life…
with incest and child molestation…
or rape by gunpoint or knife.
And many have been so broken…
that unworthiness is all they feel…
and they succumb to this lifestyle…
with a drugged existence that’s surreal.
For drugs, beatings, and rape…
becomes the life they then lead…
with extensive levels of brokenness…
and God’s healing power they all need.

Dear Lord, only You know the degree of brokenness that has driven so many women into this lifestyle. You also know those who have been victimized and trapped into these rings of prostitution. Deliver all these victims of prostitution from this horrific life. Bring healing and restoration to every broken place in their lives. Set them free from their pasts and lead them into their futures with You… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
