Domestic Violence Awareness: No One Can Understand, Unless…

Image result for 2 corinthians 1 3-4

No one can understand…
unless they have experienced it first-hand.
For the pain of domestic violence…
has kept many of it’s victims in silence.
And the fear that’s instilled…
has kept many hopes and dreams unfulfilled.
And the pain of infidelity…
has kept many victims feeling dejectedly.
For the trust that’s been broken…
leaves many deep-seated feelings unspoken.
And the pain of incest and rape…
embeds wounds some can’t seem to escape.
For these deep wounds yet to be told…
inflicted layers of brokenness to each heart and soul.
So no one can truly understand…
unless you have experienced these wounds first-hand.
And we pray then you will never know…
and these paths of brokenness you will never go.

“We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is our Father Who shows us loving-kindness and our God Who gives us comfort. He gives us comfort in all our troubles. Then we can comfort other people who have the same troubles. We give the same kind of comfort God gives us.” 2 Corinthians 1: 3-4
