From Victim to Victor

From victim to victor…
is what we declare!
No longer oppressed by abuse…
or held bound by despair.
No longer caged by fear…
or even broken by violence…
for we are over-comers…
no longer held captive in silence.
For when we finally realize…
that through Christ we can overcome…
then we can walk in victory…
to withstand any attack that will come.
For the enemy tries to destroy…
our destiny which is God’s plan…
but when we seek shelter in Him…
God will give us the strength to withstand.
For He will make us victorious…
in the face of all adversity…
when we hold onto Him in faith…
for His grace and mercy are a certainty.
