A Prayer For The Broken and a Conversation with The Church.

TRUTH!! I pray that eyes will be opened and we can all walk into the fullness of God’s plan for us!!

Caged No More

Father God,

Tonight I’m crying out on behalf of everyone in the world who is hurting. Everyone who has no idea of how precious they really are in your sight. For the dear souls that Jesus bought back with His Precious Blood on The Cross at Calvary, who have no idea that they are made in The Image of The LORD God Almighty.  Lord, it is written in Your Holy Word,

Psalm 51:17    The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

Psalm 34:18   The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

God, we come to you brokenhearted tonight and just lay it all on the Altar. You have shown me today God that there is a pain so heavy we cannot bear it…

  1. Assuming the content of the post has something to do with the title of the piece, we seem to be dealing with church issues. I like to remind myself that there is no physical church. The buildings and congregations themselves are not born of Christ, but are a throwback to Romanism. The word translated church is usually the Greek ecclesia, which means called out, and not the opposite: congregating as we do in a physical church.

Christ never assembled a congregation, nor did he ever command his followers to set a place to meet. The new testament makes it amply clear that we are the temple of the living god. Why should a temple be “churched”. Perhaps this misunderstanding is where much of the pain of the present arrangement comes from.

My hope and wish is that souls would be ecclesia, called out, and one on one with Christ.

    • Amen! I totally agree with you. There are many “church issues” that have fallen short of God’s plan. God calls us to be His Ecclesia! Amazingly, those that He has called out of church are criticized by those still sitting in a church. Too many still don’t understand and are controlled by religiosity. I pray that eyes will be opened to God’s Truth instead of man’s interpretation of truth.
