A Religious Spirit…

A religious spirit…
tries to tear many believers down…
when God clearly speaks to some…
but others have the wrong voice found.
For though many Christians…
believe in God to some degree…
they still put Him in a box…
refusing to allow His Spirit to be free.
For when we put Him in a box…
then we limit our own expectations…
closing our eyes and ears to Him…
and blocking out any new revelations.
For God never does anything new…
without revealing it to His prophets first…
those who seek Him wholeheartedly…
with a deep loving hunger and thirst.
So when some Christians hear something…
that is out of their belief realm…
then they denounce God’s chosen…
failing to realize that God’s at the helm.
For many things are yet to be revealed…
which God hid for only those who seek…
so if we’re complacent in our “religion”…
then we’ll truly miss when God will speak.
For the religious spirit tries to restrain…
and chastise many who are Holy Spirit led…
but believers who follow the Voice of God…
will continue to walk in righteousness instead.
