We have all been broken…
by some form of trauma or abuse…
but God uses it for our good…
as He turns it around for His own use.
For He loves to use the broken…
who feel so useless and weak…
for then we know it’s by His power…
that we’re empowered to come forward and speak.
For the broken are humbled…
and know they’ve no strength left to fight…
so they hold onto God to get through…
and overcome by His power and might.
So we have all been broken…
which is what I want to share with you…
but we can all overcome our pasts…
to accomplish all God’s called us to do.
For nothing is impossible…
for our God of all creation…
when we humble ourselves before Him…
and trust Him for healing and restoration.

I also always amazed when God takes the areas of my life that we’re once the most broken, the most traumatic, the most shaming … And now use them to reach another lost soul and wounded spirit. That I should have the honor of throwing out a lifesaver to someone drowning, in similar fashion to how someone thew one (or 20) to me … Glory to God! He can redeem anything!!!!
