Desire and Desperation

Image result for desire and desperation for God

Desire and desperation …
are two triggers to open God’s door…
as we cry out to Him…
that we want so much more.
More that what we have now…
and even more than what we see…
for as we seek a deeper relationship…
His promises become our reality.
For God loves the broken…
and those crushed He will rescue…
but we have to get to that point…
to be desperate for something new.
For many victims of abuse…
take and take till they can take NO more…
then finally in desperation…
submit to God then He’ll open that door.
A door to a new future…
with new-found freedom in Him…
but we have to reach that point…
to let go of the old and let the new begin.
A new relationship with God…
with a deeper intimacy is where it starts…
for in our desire and desperation for Him…
He will give us the desires of our hearts.

  2. Thanks for all of your posts, and for following UTLOT, my newest blog. https://utlot.wordpress.com/ Daily readings will be expanded. In the readings of the the book of John, the NASB will be used for Chapter 1; translations will change for each chapter, and for each book. Hopefully, new ideas will be gained by readers. Please have a very good day, and continue the good work of your blog. Please know that this type of message will be repeated, as I am trying to make the UTLOT blog known to as many people as possible. It is very difficult to remember which of my internet followers have, or have not, become UTLOT followers.
