Mistakes…

Mistakes…
something we have all made…
with regrets…
leaving many of us dismayed.
For the mistakes…
we all made when young…
play over and over in our minds…
like an old song that’s sung.
But we have to let go…
and allow our minds to be renewed…
to get a fresh new start…
and discard all regrets accrued.
For every mistake…
has become a stepping stone…
as we learn from our past choices…
and new-found wisdom becomes known.
For nothing is lost…
and no mistake is too extreme…
when we trust God with our lives…
and allow Him to heal and redeem.
