The Struggles From Abuse…

The struggles from abuse…
seem like they will never stop…
for many struggle to overcome…
like climbing a mountain to the top.
For the many victims of abuse…
struggle to overcome their past…
from the words spoken and deeds done…
with a brokenness that seems to last.
For even our vision is tainted…
when negative is all we’ve been told…
like looking through a dirty glass…
or looking inward to our broken soul.

But God can help us to overcome…
with healing and restoration too…
as we seek more of Him…
and allow Him to guide us through.
For He knows our struggles…
and every pitfall we’ve had to pass…
and He will lead us through each valley…
to get to our mountain at last.
For God can transform our lives…
where our struggles will eventually stop…
and our vision will become clear…
as we finally reach our mountain top.
