Broken Lives…

Image result for broken lives

Broken lives…
can be so easily seen…
some always emotional and crying…
or some obviously abusive and mean.
For many are filled with anger…
from the abuses they’ve been through…
and some can’t even look at another…
for fear of man was instilled into.
But when lives are healed…
they’re filled with love and joy…
for by the grace of God…
they realize the many things to enjoy.
So let’s pray for healing…
for very broken boy and girl…
and pray for this nation…
and for Peace around the world.

  1. They say a picture is worth 1000 words. Maybe that’s wrong, maybe a 1000 words is worth a priceless picture. Why is it a repost of a Facebook or an Instagram picture, more important than our original thoughts and ideas. How is it that life has become so fast pace and materialistic, that we would do more to fit in rather than be unique. Why do we give so much power to others, just to beat us emotionally! Why allow ourselves to be manipulated! Doing things we dont approve of just to satisfy their emotional needs. Just forgetting about ourselves. Allowing heart break and a new set of insercurtites. Just freely giving others permission, letting them know its ok to treat us this way. A sign on our foreheads, says walk on me it’s ok. I’ll just deal with it anyway. We don’t respect ourselves or give ourselves value. We don’t stand for what we believe in. Our silence keeps us from confrontation, we weren’t taught to cope with. So instead we stew in our depression and cry tears in our beds. We allow this to creep into the beds of our children. Making movies and tv shows, letting them know suicide is acceptable. So why can’t our words be more important than a picture. Why can’t a docutmentry on love be more popular, than one on an overdose of someone who was famed with fortune. Not to belittle anyones pain in their heart, but to share with others that you can come back from anything if you believe. We shouldn’t teach people to be mentally strong only when times are easy. But to hold strong in all times, the good, bad and the sad. When we are challenged we should pray and give our fear away. It’s not that it goes away in a night, but we can find strength. We find it in words of a bible if you choose to believe. Words of our true friends, words of the people who are just as hurt as you. Cause we are all broken inside. Some cuts just run deeper for others. As the scars in our hearts have more stitches than the scars on our arms! The stains in our eyes don’t compare to the stains in our souls! You see pictures don’t capture the process of how we cope, but the words we use is what lingers. What is left of the lasting bit of hope.

I really enjoy your blog and get it can help me grow with God! Thought I’d share some of mine with you
