Anger And Yelling In The Home

Anger and yelling in the home…
breaks many souls in their youth…
for they live under a dark cloud…
where bitterness is their root.
For when nothing is positive…
and no encouragement is given…
then many fail to thrive in life…
and learn that nothing is forgiven.
So please speak positive words…
for they’re more powerful than most know…
for they are like a boat’s rudder…
directing our children where they’ll go.
Cause if you tell them they’re not good…
and nothing they do is right…
then that’s what they will do…
and walk into darkness instead of light.
So stop all anger and yelling in the home…
and let all bitterness go…
then watch how your children will flourish…
with the love and compassion they’ll know.
